Leading British law firm, Allen & Overy, has implemented a slew of initiatives designed to improve attorney retention. Bonuses will now be tied to individual contributions to firm profitability. The firm also recently held its first annual senior associate conference. Career management innovations include accommodating associates who want to experience other practice areas, and providing training to partners on how to conduct performance appraisals.
