For Associates: Online Tool to Help Assess Your Law Firm Experience
I frequently speak with bright and accomplished associates who have a hard time articulating what they want from their careers. They have spent their whole lives striving to succeed academically, and because they have done well, they now find themselves working for a prestigious law firm. But few of these individuals have spent much time reflecting on what they want from their careers.
If you have come to JD Bliss, perhaps you are one of these individuals.
Since I know that it is hard to get started on a process of self-assessment, I decided to create an on-line tool that makes it easy to begin self reflecting about your law firm experience. You can find the tool on the BCG Attorney Search website by clicking here. It is confidential and takes about 10-15 minutes to complete.
The self-assessment is only intended to serve as a catalyst to get you moving in the right direction (i.e. it is only the beginning.) But if you are having trouble putting your finger on what is working and what may not be working for you, it is a good place to start.
If you like the tool, please spread the word. There is no charge for completing the audit and my only hope is that it proves to be helpful to associates who are ready to think more critically about their careers.
