The Juggle Asks: Can Having a Baby Zap Your Ambition?

In a recent post, Muñoz asked working moms "whether having a baby erodes your interest in work, at least in the short term?" The inquiry was triggered after Muñoz met up with an old friend who had always been very driven and career-focused, but suddenly lost her enthusiasm for her job after having her first baby and returning to work from maternity leave a few months ago. In fact, all she can get excited about nowadays, she told Muñoz, is being with her child.
